Ambedkar Jayanti , celebrated on April 14th each year, mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar(1891-1956). Dr. Ambedkar, fondly known as Babasaheb, was a prominent social reformer, jurist, economist, and the principle architect of the Indian constitution. His contributions to the fight against social discrimination towards Dalits and his advocacy for the right of marginalized communities have made him a revered figure in India.
The day is observed with various events including seminars, community gatherings, and cultural programs, highlighting his enduring legacy and the importance of equality and social justice.
