KVS FOUNDATION DAY
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was founded in the year 1963 for the benefit of the wards of central government staff with transferable issues. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Schools are managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). The oldest school of KV was established in 1964 in Pattom, Kerala. Mr. Chari was appointed as the first chairperson of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. KVS Schools follows the CBSE Syllabus with NCERT Books and other patterns.
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has divided the schools into a range of 25 regions to categorize the schools easily. There are 1248 schools in India and 3 abroad. The earliest founded KVs are located in New Delhi, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh; all the other schools were formed subsequently over the years.

ARMED FORCES FLAG DAY 2023
Armed Forces Flag Day 2023
Since 1949, the day is observed on December 7 across the country with an aim to collect funds from people for the betterment of the Armed Forces Staff. It has become a tradition to observe this day as an honour to the soldiers, sailors, and airmen of India.
Various soldiers from the Armed Forces have laid down their lives in the service of the country. Therefore, Armed Forces Flag Day is celebrated on 7 December to honor the martyrs and the men in uniform and also dedicated to collecting funds from people for the welfare of the Armed Forces personnel.
